Daniel’s hibiscus plant. Well, imagine my surprise the other day, when I walked over to the ‘indoor garden’ area of the classroom and saw this:
Not only had the plant produced buds, but one of them had bloomed.
Sadly, hibiscus flowers are notoriously short-lived, and this one lasted just a couple of days. But we are very optimistic about the remaining handful of buds!
